This photo of the 1952 -’53 St Joe’s
Grammar School Basketball team has not
seen the light of day in nearly 60 years! It was recently re-discovered by
classmate Chris Sufchinsky (LaBazzo) somewhere in her treasure chest of
memories. She has shared it with John
Herega, his wife, Rose Mary, and me – all St Joe’s classmates from 1953. With
some difficulty, we’ve been able to identify everyone in the picture. Can you? Send me an email with your guesses. Winners will be rewarded with their names up

Note the cool sneakers carried by
the kid on the right in the front row. Could they be P.F. Fliers or maybe Keds?
They are definitely not Air Jordans.
