I regret to announce the death of another classmate, Patricia Donovan Mitchell. The News Home Tribune reports that Pat, age 69, died on 5/28/07 at Raritan Bay Hospital. Born in Rahway, she lived most of her life in Carteret berfore moving to Sewaren one year ago. Berfore retiring in 2001, she was employed as a psychiatric social worker for Middlesex County for 30 years. She received an AA degree from Middlesex County College, a BA degree from Kean College and a Masters degree from Rutgers University. She was member of the Colombiettes Father Carey Council. She was predeceased by her parents, Patrick Donovan and Mary Hagan Donovan and a brother, Timothy Donovan. She is survived by a son, Jack Mitchell and his wife, Diane, of Carteret, and three grandchildren, Jack Mitchell Jr, of Old Bridge, Nicole and Kevin, both of Sewaren. Funeral Services will be held Thursday at the Chubenko Funeral Home, Port Reading, followed by mass at St Joseph's RC Church in Carteret. Visitation will be on Wednesday from 2 PM to 4 PM and 7 PM to 9 Pm at the funeral home.
