Thanks to Al Benson (better know to we classmates as "Benny Bobenchick") for informing us about the noteworthy achievements this basketball season of classmate Bobby Turco's two sons.
As you may know, Bobby and wife, Vickie (nee Kosnoski, CHS '58) are the parents of two very successful high school basketball coaches in Middlesex County. This season, the two boys -- Robert Jr (Monroe HS) and Dave (St Josephs-Metuchen) -- both coached their respective schools to the Final Round of the Greater Middlesex County Tournament. Its the first time in tournament history that two brothers ever faced each other as rival coaches for the tournament championship. Its also the first time that the Turco boys ever coached against each other in any high school game. Its an envious position for Bob & Vickie to be in -- no matter the result, they can't lose. Congratulations to them on this amazing feat for which they can be justifiably proud.
