As you may have heard, we have lost another class member. Antoinette "Toni" Aleszczk passed away on Tuesday, September 29, 2009. Toni is survived by her husband, Steve Lakatos (CHS '55), 2 children, 4 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. As I recall, she and Steve were high school sweethearts -- one of those few high school romances that proved to be for real. They were married for 52 years! Toni still resided in Carteret -- one of our relatively few classmates who did. I'll always remember Toni from high school as a tiny bundle of energy -- pretty, bright, ambitious yet friendly, and popular. God rest her soul.
