Some CHS alumni, including a few classmates, had an opportunity to get together in June with two legendary figures in the annals of CHS history – Doug King and Moe Gasior.(Mr. King is on the right in photo) During our years at CHS, Mr. King taught Science and was Head Football Coach, Head Baseball Coach and Assistant Basketball Coach. He later served many years as Principal at the High School. Mr. Gasior was an Assistant Football Coach at the High School during the 50’s and well known sports official in the area. He later became Athletic Director for the Ramblers. A good time was had by all over lunch at The Barge in Perth Amboy. Classmates attending were Nick Lehotsky, Don Zazworsky and Paul Sweda. They were joined by Ron Helley (’55), Nick Kosty (’58), Mike Resko (’58) Butch Woodhull ('59) and Steve Kondrek (’60). We are very pleased to report that Coach King has accepted our invitation and will be attending our 50 YEAR REUNION on October 5th, 2007. At age 89, Coach King continues to enjoy good health and remains as "sharp as a tack."
