Richard L. Potts, 68, of Carteret passed away Saturday, April 21, 2007, at home.
Born in Perth Amboy, he lived in Carteret most of his life.
He was a retired iron worker for Iron Workers Local 480, out of Elizabeth.
He was a parishioner of Holy Family R.C. Church, Carteret. He was an Army veteran of the Vietnam War. He was an avid golfer and fisherman.
He is survived by one daughter, Kathleen Ketch, and her husband, Robert, of Keansburg; two grandchildren, Nicole Elizabeth and Robert Richard; and one sister, Audrey Ginda, and her husband, Robert, of South Plainfield. Funeral services will be at 9 a.m. Tuesday at Synowiecki Funeral Home, 56 Carteret Ave., Carteret, followed by a Mass at 9:30 a.m. at Holy Family R.C. Church, Carteret. Visiting hours are from 2 p.m.-4 p.m. and 7 p.m.-9 p.m. Monday
